Mark Fonseca began their career in 2011 as a Network Engineer at Verizon Business, where they provided end to end design, configuration, implementation and optimization services across critical WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN and WAE networks for global customers, with a focus on Cisco equipment. In 2015, they moved to Verizon Wireless as a Systems Technician, where they were responsible for providing Tier 2 support for the advanced operation and maintenance of a complex, multi-vendor nationwide wireless network, ensuring network integrity and quality. In 2017, Mark joined Tekscape, Inc. as an Operations Manager, Operations Team Lead, Sales Operations Specialist, and Technical Sales Engineer. That same year, they also began working at Cisco Meraki as a Network Support Engineer, where they were responsible for diagnosing and repairing network issues for Meraki’s entire cloud based product line, including wireless access points, switches and firewalls.
Mark Fonseca obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2011. Mark has also obtained several certifications, including Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 from Microsoft in September 2019, ITIL v3 Foundations from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2014, Cisco Certified Network Associate-Routing and Switching in March 2018, Cisco Certified Design Associate in December 2014, Cisco Certified Network Associate-Voice in June 2012, and Cisco Certified Network Professional in November 2013.
