Andy Michaelis

Andy Michaelis is the CTO at TeleVet. Prior to TeleVet, Andy was the Vice President of Engineering at Modernize from April 2017 to September 2020. At Modernize, Andy was responsible for tripling the engineering team and supporting double-digit growth across the organization. Andy also helped lead Modernize through a successful acquisition by a public company.

During their time at Modernize, Andy made several key contributions including moving legacy development practices to deploying code several times a day, migrating legacy codebase to updated REST API, and managing IT, DevOps, Product, QA, Design and back end and front end engineering teams across the entire organization. Andy also automated the publishing of all campaign updates to Google, GDN, and Facebook with budgets of over 2 million a month. In addition, they migrated all ETL’s to a centralized Airflow server responsible for logging, scheduling, and execution.

In terms of homeowner facing SEO products, Andy increased organic revenue by over 300%. Andy also implemented a dedicated engineering focus, maintenance, and monitoring process for increasing landing page speed scores to A+ scores across the board.

Andy Michaelis obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education from Northern Illinois University, and later went on to study Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

They work with Price Fallin - Chief Product Officer, Prabhakar Gopalan - Chief Revenue Officer, and Eric Jenkins - CFO. Andy Michaelis reports to Steven Carter, CEO.
