Rita Salonen

Rita Salonen is a seasoned travel industry professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. As the Independent Travel Consultant and Co-Founder of TELLUS Travels since August 2014, Rita has provided leisure and business travel services globally, specializing in various cruise brands as a member of CLIA. Concurrently, since February 2006, Rita has served as Office Manager at TELLUS International, overseeing business travel, HR, payroll, and general administration. Prior experience includes a role as Independent Cruise Specialist at Cruises Inc. from August 2014 to January 2023, and various positions in travel consulting, including early roles at Travel Agency Hassen Matkat and as a Flight Attendant for Maersk Air and Connair. Rita completed a degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management at Porvoon Matkailuopisto and holds a high school diploma from Etu-Töölön lukio.
