Michael Hantke

Michael Hantke has over 30 years of experience in the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. Mike is a founding partner at Tensley Consulting as well as the President and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he is responsible for the overall operations and business development of Tensley. Mike started his career in the U.S Air Force. During his 20 years of service, he supported SIGINT customers around the world. Duty locations included San Vito, Italy; Medina RSOC, Texas; Joint Intelligence Center Pacific (JICPAC), Hawaii; and the National Security Agency. While assigned to the National Security Agency, Mike was a Program Manager responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining SIGINT systems around the world. After retiring from the Air Force, Mike joined the Harris Corporation as the Advanced Program Manager for their National Programs Division. His responsibilities included the identification and qualification of new SIGINT requirements and the capture of new programs. In 2006 Mike left Harris to manage Applied Signal Technology’s Engineering and Mission Support business area.

He was responsible for over 60 personnel and 15 programs consisting of software development, system engineering, mission analysis, system integration, test, deployments, and 24 hour mission management for the Intelligence Community. Mike holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University. He is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions from the Air Force and the Intelligence Community.
