Johan du Plessis

Johan du Plessis has worked in various roles for a number of companies. Starting in 2009, they worked for BP as a Project Engineer, GPO Korea, Lead Mechanical Engineer for DP Platform, Package Project Manager, Package Engineer and Risk Manager, and Mechanical Engineer. In 2015, they joined PA Consulting as a Strategy Consultant. In 2017, they were appointed Head of Smart Heat at OVO Energy. Most recently, in 2018, they became the Founder & CEO of tepeo.

Johan du Plessis obtained their Master of Engineering Management (MEM) from Duke University between 2008 and 2009. Johan then obtained their Master of Mechanical Engineering (MENG) from the University of Bristol in 2008. In 2009, they obtained a MEM from Duke University. In 2014, they obtained a PMP from the Project Management Institute. Johan also holds a CEng from the Engineering Council and a MIMechE from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
