Frank Patterson serves as the Director of Emergency Management and Risk Manager at McLennan Community College since March 2019, while also fulfilling the role of Adjunct Instructor for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service since February 2018. Patterson has been a Board Member of the McLennan County 911 District since December 2015. From July 1999 to March 2019, Patterson worked as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Waco-McLennan County, developing comprehensive emergency operation plans and coordinating multi-agency emergency response efforts. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Fire Protection Technology at McLennan Community College from June 1997 to July 1999, where Patterson established the Fire Protection Technology program and managed various educational initiatives. Educational background includes participation in the Emergency Management Professionals Program Advanced Academy at the Emergency Management Institute and a degree in Fire Science from Lamar University.
