Sarah D. Worthington is an accomplished attorney and director of the Texas Foster Youth Justice Project at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, where Sarah advocates for the rights of current and former foster youth in Texas. With a background in both policy and legal advocacy, Sarah previously served as a policy attorney at the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition, focusing on legislative analysis and stakeholder collaboration. Additional experience includes positions as a staff attorney at the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas Inc., where Sarah prepared immigration applications, and a social service coordinator at the City of Dallas, where case management services were provided to defendants. Sarah holds a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law, a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Southwest Baptist University.
