Andrew Beevers

Andrew Beevers is an experienced Chemistry Teacher currently working at Windsor Girls School and The Abbey School, Reading, since August 2023. Prior to these roles, Andrew taught at Sir William Perkins's School from January 2022 to August 2023 and at Luton 6th Form College from August 2012 to December 2018. Additional teaching experience includes a position at Slough Grammar School for the 2011-2012 academic year. Andrew's background also features a tenure as a Chemistry Tutor at Oxford International College and a research fellowship at the University of Warwick, focusing on the biophysical, computational, and biological study of membrane proteins. Academic credentials include a PhD in Molecular Modelling of Self-Assembled Peptide Nanostructures from the University of Leeds, a BSc in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Portsmouth, and QTS from Slough Grammar School's Graduate Training Programme. Furthermore, Andrew served as a Technical Consultant at the University of Leeds in 2006.
