Jen Birch

Jen Birch is an experienced professional in volunteer management and community engagement. Currently serving as a Volunteering People Partner at The Children's Society since March 2022, Jen partners with leaders and stakeholders to develop strategic volunteer plans. Prior to this role, Jen was the Volunteering and Community Manager at National Trust's Quarry Bank, contributing to leadership initiatives and fundraising efforts. Jen's background includes serving as Community Volunteering Manager at Save the Children UK, and holding various positions within MAG, including Events Officer and Public Fundraising Assistant. Jen has also worked with COCO as a Volunteer Project Coordinator and served as a CV Adviser at Newcastle University. Jen holds an MA in International Politics and a BA in Philosophical Studies from Newcastle University.
