Dianne Valentim

Dianne Valentim has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Dianne started their career in 1994 as a Budget Analyst at OMERS and held various positions including Senior Fund Accountant and Senior Analyst, Real Estate Financial Services. In 2005, they joined The Corporation of the Town of Ajax as a Senior Financial Analyst and later became the Interim Manager, Budgets and Accounting. In 2016, they moved to the Corporation of the Township of Scugog as the Director of Finance / Treasurer. In 2020, they returned to The Corporation of the Town of Ajax as the Director of Finance / Treasurer.

Dianne Valentim has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, with a field of study in Business/Commerce, General. Dianne also holds a Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership from the Schulich School of Business at York University, with a field of study in Canadian Government and Politics. In addition, they have a Masters Certificate in Public Sector Management from Ontario Tech University, also with a field of study in Canadian Government and Politics. Dianne Valentim is also certified in the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute.
