Ben Fader

Ben Fader has extensive experience in sports journalism and event management. Currently serving as Sports Editor at The Daily Illini, Ben has also held positions as Assistant Sports Editor and Contributing Writer within the same organization since September 2021. Additionally, Ben works as an Event Staff Supervisor at State Farm Center since August 2022. Upcoming roles include a Sales Intern at BASE Sports Group and a Sports Introduction Intern at Frederick Keys during the summer of 2024. Furthermore, Ben was an On-Air Editor for Illini Drive at WPGU 107.1 from August 2023 to March 2024. Ben is pursuing a degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in April 2025.
