Von Vargas

Von Vargas is the founder of Von Vargas Music, established in 2009, which leverages hip hop to foster positive change in marginalized communities and influences society and pop culture. In addition to leading Von Vargas Music, Von Vargas serves as the Chapter President and a National Board of Trustees member at The Recording Academy since June 2016. Other roles include Creative Music Director at Creative Development Studios and Community Curator at The Digilogue. As a songwriter and publisher affiliate with SESAC and PRS for Music, Von Vargas is also a member of the Gospel Music Association and has previously worked as a songwriter affiliate with Songtrust. Educational qualifications include studies at NYU Tisch Art and Public Policy, Parsons School of Design, and TESST College of Technology-Baltimore, where an Associate degree in Electronic Engineering was earned.
