Margaret Mcneil

Margaret McNeil is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, particularly in nonprofit and healthcare environments. Currently serving as a strategic leadership counsel at The Discovery Group since January 2021, Margaret previously held the position of CEO at Canuck Place Children's Hospice from April 2012 to December 2020. Additional experience includes serving as a board member for WorkSafe BC and the Minerva Foundation, and as VP Operations at BC Housing. Margaret's earlier roles feature Regional Director of Mental Health and Addictions at Vancouver Island Health Authority and significant tenure with the BC Public Service and City of Vancouver. Academic qualifications encompass a Directors' College governance education from the Conference Board of Canada, an MSc in Community Health Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, and a BSc in Nursing from McMaster University.
