Suzan Hammond currently serves as Project Manager for Translational Science and Collaborations at The Francis Crick Institute, having transitioned to this role in November 2023. Previously, Suzan was a Principal Scientist at Oxford Biomedica from September 2020 to August 2023, where responsibilities included leading a team of three scientists in developing viral vector-based gene therapy products, project management of multiple complex studies, and contributing to due diligence activities. Suzan's academic background includes significant research in neuromuscular disorders at the University of Oxford, where roles included Team Lead and Postdoctoral Research Scientist, along with foundational research at Children's Memorial Research Center. Suzan earned a PhD in Molecular Biology from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Biology from Xavier University.
