Anmar Hijazi is a seasoned journalist and researcher with extensive experience in opinion journalism, pop culture criticism, and media production. Currently serving as a journalist at FRANCE 24 since September 2011 and as a researcher at the Harmoon Center for Contemporary Studies since September 2020, Anmar is also actively writing opinion pieces and critiques for Raseef22 and The New Arab. Additional roles include contributions to Infomigrants and a significant background in media art and culture, demonstrated through work with various organizations including Qatar TV and Aljazeera Film Festival. Anmar co-founded Rozana Radio and possesses academic qualifications in fiction filmmaking and French literature from Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis and Damascus University, respectively.
