Xinyi Zhang

Xinyi Zhang is currently a Design Specialist at OJB Landscape Architecture, focusing on practice-based design research since August 2023. Previously, Xinyi served as a Design Researcher at SWA Group and worked as a Teaching Assistant for the LARP media class at the University of Pennsylvania. In the summer of 2022, Xinyi participated in a selective Summer Student Program at SWA Group, addressing wildfire issues in California, and developed innovative design concepts for climate-resilient communities. Additionally, a Design Fellow at PennPraxis, Xinyi conducted research and designed a concept plan for a Native American tribe in New Jersey. Xinyi holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Certificate in Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Landscape Architecture from Beijing Forestry University.
