Jodie Keane is an experienced economic adviser and senior research fellow with a focus on trade, climate, and development, particularly regarding Least Developed Countries, Small States, and Africa. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member for Fairmiles and the Trade Negotiations Investment Forum, Jodie has a rich background that includes leading the Trade Programme at the Overseas Development Institute since March 2020, and previously providing trade policy analysis at the Commonwealth Secretariat. Jodie has also contributed to academia as a guest teacher at the London School of Economics and a tutor at SOAS University of London. With a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of London and a Master’s in Political Economy of Development from SOAS, Jodie possesses a robust foundation in economic research and policy analysis, demonstrated through various roles in both consultancy and research environments.
