Mary E. Johnson has a range of experience in strategic philanthropy, development, and program coordination. Mary E. began their career at UChicago Medicine as a Program Coordinator and later moved on to become the Executive Director at Corazón Community Services. Following this, Mary joined UI Health as the Director of Strategy and Planning for Pediatrics. Mary E. then transitioned to Lincoln Park Community Services, serving as their Chief Development & Strategy Officer. At Heartland Alliance, Mary held the roles of Director of Strategic Philanthropy and Senior Director of Strategic Philanthropy. Currently, Mary is the Chief Development Officer at The Resurrection Project.
Mary E. Johnson has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, which they earned from 2006 to 2008. Mary E. also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social Work from Michigan State University, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. Mary pursued further education in healthcare administration and management, obtaining a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2017-2018. Mary E. also has certifications in Non-Profit Business Excellence from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business (2010-2011), and Health Administration and Policy from the University of Chicago (2006-2008).
