Morgan Hughes

Morgan Hughes is a seasoned journalist currently serving as a City Reporter for The State Newspaper since November 2021, covering a wide range of local issues in Columbia. Prior experience includes roles as a Health and Education reporter and City Government Reporter for the Casper Star-Tribune, where Morgan garnered recognition for exemplary obituary writing and agricultural reporting. Earlier positions include Education Reporter at the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, where investigative work led to significant policy changes, as well as various internships and leadership roles at Marquette University and other organizations. Morgan holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science from Marquette University.
