Girish Modgil

Girish Modgil, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Data Science, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence at Travelers, Girish has previously held the role of Vice President for the Artificial Intelligence and Automation Accelerator. Academic contributions include positions on the Industry Advisory Board for Kennesaw State University's School of Data Science and Analytics and as an Advisory Board Member for Emory University's Goizueta Business School. Additional professional experience includes leading data science and analytics at Variant, and holding various leadership roles at GE, including VP and CIO for Data Science, Risk Modeling, and Finance. Girish Modgil earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
