Mick Carr has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. In 1994, they founded and served as a director of Lazy Lads Laundry Service Pty Ltd until 2001. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as an electrician at Vale. In 2007, they became a director of Control Vend Pty Ltd, where they remained until 2013. In 2009, they founded and served as a director of Control Dust Pty Ltd until 2012. From 2013 to 2015, Mick worked at 3M Australia as a Mining Facilitator and Mining Project Delivery Manager. In 2015, they founded Traditional Business Online Pty Ltd. From 2016 to the present, Mick is the founder and Chief Energy Officer of The Village Co, focusing on revolutionizing the food industry through innovative technologies. In 2018, they also took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Grub Lab.
Mick Carr completed their high school education at Kurri Kurri High School from 1993 to 1996, earning the High School Certificate. Following their high school graduation, they pursued further education at TAFE NSW. From 1996 to 1998, they completed a Trade program, specializing in Electrical. Later, from 1998 to 1999, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at TAFE NSW.
