Ericka Sobczak

Ericka Sobczak has a wealth of work experience. Ericka started their career as a Hairstylist at ULTA Beauty in 2008, where they provided a variety of hairstyling services to the public and worked promotional events to build clientele. In 2013, they became a Business Owner/Operator of Isis Salon/Freelance Hairstyling, where they employed and managed multiple employees, designed a business plan, operated the agreement, and corresponded with banks, state licensing officials, and local municipalities for proper licensing and permits. In 2017, they became a Human Resource Intern at GLOBAL ADVANCED PRODUCTS LLC, where they assisted with time keeping and payroll processes and researched and developed PPE training for employees, per OSHA regulations. Ericka then became the Director of Human Resources and Culture at The War Memorial, where they were responsible for collecting and analyzing employee data, organizing and updating employee files, and developing and administering company wide employee training materials and workshops.

Ericka Sobczak attended Oakland University from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development. Prior to that, they attended Michigan College of Beauty-Troy from 2005 to 2006 and obtained a license as a Hairstylist in the field of Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General.
