Ben Moore

Benjamin Moore is an experienced theatre professional currently serving as the Head Stage Carpenter at Theatre Calgary since January 2023. Previously, Benjamin worked with Cirque du Soleil from June 2010 to September 2021, holding various roles including Fly-In Carpenter, Assistant Head of Carpentry for Varekai, and Show Carpenter for Dralion. Benjamin also served as Technical Director at Theatre Junction GRAND from August 2013 to March 2014 and accrued diverse experience as a Theatre Technician across various theatres in Canada from 1998 to 2012. In addition, Benjamin held the position of Head of Lighting at Club Med from 2005 to 2006. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre from the University of Alberta and a DEC in Theatre from John Abbott College.
