María Amenábar

Maria Amenabar Farias currently serves as an Artistic Producing Associate and Assistant Artistic Producer at Milwaukee Rep, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Maria held various roles at Illinois State University, including Principal Instructor for Principles of Stage Directing and Casting Associate for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Additional experience includes serving as a Breakout Instructor for Introduction to Theatre, a Project Development Intern, and a Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Directing from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Film, Television, and Theatre from the University of Notre Dame, complemented by a high school diploma from the American School of Guatemala.
