Spencer Farrar

Spencer Farrar is a Partner at Theory Ventures since April 2023, where they focus on building derivatives trading infrastructure and completed a successful merger. They were previously Chief Strategy Officer at a Stealth Startup. Prior to that, Spencer was a Partner at Bienville, a US $4 billion asset manager, where they were responsible for sourcing, due diligence, investing, and portfolio management. Spencer also worked at Velocity Mortgage Capital in Originations and Research. They graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Cognitive Science in 2019.
