Dimitris Baltas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dimitris is currently the Team Lead for Product Development at TheraPanacea, where they started in April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at TheraPanacea from July 2020 to April 2021.

Before their time at TheraPanacea, Dimitris was on sabbatical in 2020 and worked as a Software Engineer at a company called Beat from March 2020 to July 2020. Dimitris also held several positions at Beat, including Senior Engineering Manager from April 2019 to February 2020, Backend Chapter Leader from July 2018 to March 2019, and Agile Evangelist and Software Engineer from August 2017 to June 2018.

Dimitris has experience in the Agile methodology and worked at tripsta as an Agile Coach, Team Leader, and Scrum Master from 2014 to 2017. Dimitris also worked as a Software Engineer at tripsta from 2008 to 2014.

Additionally, Dimitris has been involved in side projects such as Kinoscope, a tool for behavioral researchers, where they served as the Lead Developer from September 2011 to October 2013. Dimitris was also the CEO and responsible for product development at my-calendar.gr, a personalized wall calendar company, from January 2011 to October 2013.

Earlier in their career, Dimitris co-founded SoundSugar, a software development project, and worked as a Software Developer at mBeat media inc (InternetQ sub) and InternetQ.

Dimitris Baltas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Ioannina, graduating in 1999. Dimitris also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the PSPO I (Professional Scrum Product Owner) from scrum.org in December 2014, the PSM I (Professional Scrum Master I) from Scrum.org in April 2014, Business Project Management in June 2007, and the Microsoft Certified Solution Developer for .NET from New Horizons, Athens in June 2005.
