Oliver Poole

Oliver Poole is currently serving as an Expert for the advanced thesis and master's thesis at HSLU Master of Science in Engineering since October 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist R&D at Thermoplan AG since December 2022 and as a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer at RUAG from September 2021 to December 2022, where Oliver implemented state-of-the-art computer vision models for anomaly and object detection. Earlier roles involved supporting multiscale modeling development at ETH Zürich as a Student Research Assistant and completing a C++ software engineering internship at AutoForm Engineering GmbH. Oliver's educational background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, along with diverse educational experiences in applied mathematics, physics, and popular culture.
