A. Karell Roxas has extensive work experience in the editorial field. They began their career as a Senior Editor at gURL.com in 2003 and worked there until 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they served as a Managing Editor at LIfe 180 Inc. Following this, they held the role of Director of Content and Community at PrestonBailey.com from 2009 to 2011. They then joined Colin Cowie Enterprises as a Managing Editor from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, they became the Managing Editor at DailyWorth and WorthFM, and later transitioned to the role of Executive Editor. In 2016, they worked as the Director of Editorial and Education at WorthFM. From 2017 to 2020, they held the positions of Editorial Director and Editor In Chief at Motherly, before joining theSkimm in 2021. At theSkimm, they initially worked as the Senior Director of Editorial Operations and are currently serving as the Editorial Director.

From 1999 to 2003, A. Karell Roxas attended Pratt Institute where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Writing for Performance, Publication, and Media.
