Mary Beth Edger has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Mary Beth began their career at St. Agnes Medical Center in 1996, where they served as the Vice President/CNO until 2004. Mary Beth then joined TJUH/Methodist Division in 2006 as the Vice President Patient Services and held the position until 2022. Subsequently, Mary Beth Edger joined Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in 2019, where they initially served as the Vice President Patient Care Services until 2021. Mary Beth then assumed the role of Interim Senior VP Patient Care Services & CNO before being promoted to Senior Vice President Patient Care Services & Chief Nursing Officer in November 2021.

Mary Beth Edger DNP, MSN, MHA, RN, NEA-BC obtained their Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Thomas Jefferson University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Jefferson Health. Mary Beth also holds a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Saint Joseph's University. Mary Beth started their educational journey by achieving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Holy Family University. Mary Beth'sfocus of study throughout their education has been primarily in the field of nursing.
