Nicole Belanger

Nicole Belanger, LPC, is a licensed mental health professional currently serving as the Athletics Mental Health Coordinator for the University of New Haven Athletics Department, where assistance is provided to student-athletes in managing mental health challenges. With a strong background in NCAA collegiate environments, Nicole aims to reduce stigma surrounding mental health. Additionally, Nicole works as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Tides of Mind Counseling and a Mental Health Clinician at Healthy Healing Psychotherapy, offering therapy to diverse age groups facing various mental health issues. Nicole also holds a role as an Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at the University of New Haven, contributing to practice planning, student-athlete coaching, and program management. Nicole's previous experience includes positions as a Clinical Therapist Intern and a Prevention Strategist, combined with a solid educational foundation consisting of a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the University of New Haven in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Psychology, respectively.
