Ali Ibrahim has a long and varied work experience. Ali began their career in 2014 as an Android Developer at SCIT Company. In 2015, they became a Web Developer and Teaching Assistant at Tishreen University. In 2016, they became Self-Employed as a Web Developer. In 2019, they joined tigerlab as an Engineering Manager and Senior Back-end Developer, and also joined RQIIM as a Software Engineer. At tigerlab, their roles included developing the overall concepts of new features/products, solving any problems that may hinder the progress of the project, and supervising engineers throughout the project. As a Senior Back-end Developer, they were responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end of the company's SaaS software using Django framework, collaborating with other teams such as front-end, QA, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration, and optimizing the performance and scalability of the system. At RQIIM, their main responsibilities included back-end development, web crawling and indexing, and scrapping websites to extract information for most of the services. At Tishreen University, their role as a Web Developer included being a member of the development team for the new Tishreen university website and being responsible for the development of TUPedia subsystem (Tishreen University Encyclopedia).

Ali Ibrahim obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Tishreen University between 2009 and 2014. Ali has also obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure (2019), Programming with Google Go Specialization (2019), Matrix Factorization and Advanced Techniques (2018), Recommender Systems: Evaluation and Metrics (2018), Introduction to Recommender Systems: Non-Personalized and Content-Based (with Honors) (2018), and Nearest Neighbor Collaborative Filtering (with Honors) (2018).
