Laura Penhaul has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Laura is currently the Chief Innovation Officer at TIGNUM, where they also serve as a Performance Specialist, Speaker, and Coach on Sustainable High Performance. Prior to this, Laura worked with various companies and organizations, including the RNLI as a Lifeboat Crew volunteer, Sowenna Appeal as a Board Member, Fieri Leadership and Development LLP as an Associate, the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) as a Lead Physiotherapist, and Mark Beaumont's team as a Performance Manager. Additionally, they have also worked with British Athletics as a Paralympic Lead Physiotherapist, Coxless Crew as the Team Lead, Pure Sports Medicine as a Musculoskeletal Specialist Physiotherapist, and ParalympicsGB as a Physiotherapist.
Laura Penhaul completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University from 2001 to 2004. Laura then went on to earn a Postgraduate Diploma (PG(dip)) in Sports and Exercise from the University of Bath between 2010 and 2012. Later, Laura pursued an MRes in Sport, Exercise & Health from St Mary's University, Twickenham, from 2016 to 2017.
