Carlos Giron

Carlos Giron is an experienced telecommunications professional specializing in RF design and network planning. Currently serving as a Planning and RF Designer at Tigo Honduras since November 2023, Carlos is responsible for mobile network planning, coverage maps creation, and integration of various site technologies. Prior experience includes a role as an RF Design Engineer at Huawei Technologies, where Carlos focused on designing and optimizing GSM, UMTS, and LTE networks, and contributing to Huawei's Managed Services project for Tigo Honduras. Carlos has also held academic positions as a professor of Electronic Engineering at Universidad Jesus de Nazareth and has significant experience as an RF Design Engineer and Site Search Engineer at Tigo Honduras and Millicom International Cellular. Carlos holds a degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, obtained in 2007.
