Antoinette O'Gorman

Antoinette O'Gorman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of compliance and risk management. Their most recent role was as the Chief Compliance Officer at Tilia, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Global Chief Compliance Officer - Digital at State Street from 2022 to 2023.

Antoinette's experience also includes a role as the Chief Compliance Officer at PolySign, Inc. from 2019 to 2021. During their time at PolySign, they were responsible for managing various risk and compliance functions, including consumer protection, GDPR compliance, and BSA/AML/Sanctions/Fraud. Antoinette was also a board member of the company's subsidiary, Standard Custody & Trust, LLC.

Before joining PolySign, Antoinette worked as the Chief Compliance Officer at Ripple Labs Inc. from 2015 to 2018. In this role, they managed three distinct compliance streams and collaborated closely with the Product and Engineering teams on compliance matters for domestic and cross-border payments products.

Antoinette's early career includes roles as an independent BSA/AML/OFAC Consultant at Promontory Financial Group, LLC from 2012 to 2015, where they provided consulting services to banks and non-bank financial institutions on compliance matters. Antoinette also served as the Local BSA Officer at HSBC in 2012, managing AML client-facing programs and leading KYC remediation projects.

Antoinette's work experience further includes a long tenure at Union Bank, where they held the position of Senior Vice President from 2000 to 2011.

Antoinette O'Gorman completed their education at various institutions. In 1985, they enrolled at the University of Limerick and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in European Studies (Languages) Hons. in 1989. Antoinette continued their studies at the same university, pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree from 1990 to 1991. Later in 2006, they attended Emory University, where they attended the American Banker's Association Graduate School of Compliance and earned a degree in Compliance.
