Shannon Slowey Weldon

Shannon Slowey Weldon is a Project Manager at TIP Medical Communications, Inc. since August 2022 and previously served as a Nature and Climate Content Creator at Tract from July 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes teaching 8th grade biology at North Star Academy Charter School of Newark from December 2017 to August 2022 and working as a Retinal Imaging Technologist at HealPros from October 2016 to December 2017. Additionally, Shannon was an Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician at Crown Veterinary Specialists and worked as a Special Animal Exhibit Associate at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo. Earlier roles include managing the Simon Forum at Drew University and assisting in biological research. Shannon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Drew University, completed additional study at Cornell University, and graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School.
