Savyasachi Gupta

Savyasachi Gupta has a diverse work experience. Their most recent role was as a Software Systems Engineer at TMSI LLC, where they started in July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Mesnac Co., Ltd as a Machine Learning Engineer from August 2015 to July 2018. At Mesnac, they developed machine learning algorithms in MATLAB for the Tire and Rubber OEM industry, worked on a prototype of an autonomous cart using ROS, and implemented algorithms for an automated guided vehicle (AGV) to be used in a parcel sorting system.

Before Mesnac, Savyasachi was an Embedded Systems Engineering Intern at Heta Datain in 2014, where they developed a data logger and a data acquisition system for online energy meters, resulting in cost reduction and better configuration capabilities compared to the previous system.

In 2014, they also worked as a Research Associate at the Advance Sensing Computation & Control Lab, OSU. There, they developed a collision avoidance system for autonomous cars approaching road intersections, using two approaches based on probabilistic decision-making.

Their earliest work experience was as a Systems Engineer at Infosys from February 2012 to October 2012. At Infosys, they developed and managed a web application for handling trainee data as a member of the web application design team.

Savyasachi Gupta obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Savyasachi attended this university from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University. Savyasachi pursued their undergraduate degree from 2007 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Savyasachi Gupta has obtained the following: Applied Machine Learning in Python from Coursera in July 2017 and Machine Learning from Coursera in August 2016.
