Julie Twynholm's work experience starts in 2006 at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as an Associate/Senior Associate, where they worked on internal audit and Sarbanes Oxley controls assurance projects. In 2010, they became a Risk Assurance Manager at PwC, overseeing internal audit and SOX projects and managing a team of 20. In 2011, they joined KPMG Bermuda as an Advisory Manager, leading internal audit and SOX engagements. In 2012, they became an Advisory Senior Manager at KPMG Bermuda, focusing on internal audit and SOX projects. Julie then moved to Bermuda Commercial Bank in 2013, working as an Enterprise Risk and Project Manager and eventually becoming the Head of Change Management. At Bermuda Commercial Bank, they created the Change Management department, established a project steering committee, and developed a team of 4 project managers. In 2015, Julie joined PwC Hong Kong and Mainland China as a Senior Manager, primarily working with banks and wealth management providers on various projects including regulatory compliance reviews and implementations. Julie then returned to PwC in 2018 as a Director, before transitioning to their current role as the Group Chief Risk Officer at Together - loans, mortgages & finance in 2021.

Julie Twynholm attended Rugby High School from 1997 to 2002, where they completed their GCSEs and A Levels. Afterwards, they enrolled at Lancaster University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International Business from 2002 to 2005. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued at Lancaster University for a year and earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Human Resources and Knowledge Management in 2006.
