Archie Garcia has worked in the telecommunications industry since 2001. Archie began their career at Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) as a Switch Engineer, where they were responsible for operations and maintenance of the EWSD National Toll Switching System and its peripherals. Archie also implemented Circuit Authorization Order (CAO) and Trunk Modification Order (TMO) on the subject of activation and deactivation of initial or additional inter-office trunks from wiring up to call through test. In 2005, they moved to Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) as a NOC/MSC Engineer, where they were responsible for operations and maintenance of SIEMENS D900/D1800 and AIRNET TECORE Switching System and its peripherals, as well as subscriber administration of Siemens D900/D1800 and TECORE switches. In 2006, they joined Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (Sun Cellular) as a Circuit Switch Core Optimization Senior Engineer I, where they retrieved and analyzed data captured from Protocol Analyzer, RF tools, and Huawei iM2000 server to be used in network optimization. In 2012, they moved to Ericsson Manage Services (MTN Afghanistan) as an IREG Engineer, where they managed IREG testing on all services, GSM (IR24), GPRS (IR35), CAMEL (IR32, IR60) and 3G (IR50). In 2015, they joined Epsilon Telecommunications as a Voice Engineer, where they provisioned/implemented Service Order (SO) on the subject of activation and deactivation of SIP and ISUP/SIP interconnection, provisioned Geographic and Toll Free Numbers, and performed first/second line support in all Technical Issues relating to the Epsilon Voice Products. Archie currently serves as the Lead Voice Operations at Toku since 2020.
Archie Garcia attended Mapúa University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunication.
