Aditya Andra

Aditya Andra has a strong background in data science and technology, with experience working for various companies. Aditya started their career as a Research Intern at Fennec Fox Technologies in 2011, where they worked on designing an Inertial Navigation System for a home-based robot. In 2012, they served as a Research Intern at NextSapiens.

In 2013, Aditya joined Futures First as an Analyst, specializing in modeling and executing trading strategies within Brazilian and US Fixed income derivative markets, as well as commodity derivative markets. Aditya built regression and time series models to improve pricing strategies.

In 2020, Aditya co-founded WiseLike and served as a Co-Founder. Aditya built the entire machine learning pipeline from scratch and developed an ML model to regress characteristics of pictures with likes. Later that year, they joined Toptal as a Freelance Data Scientist, where they built end-to-end data science solutions, developed ETL pipelines, and conducted exploratory data analysis.

In 2020, Aditya also co-founded Toothlens and took on the role of Co-Founder and CTO. Aditya led a team of developers to build a web app and ML API for a dental AI solution, and oversaw strategy development based on trial data.

In 2021, Aditya joined Cognizer Inc as a Senior Data Scientist. There, they improved inference time for deep learning models, developed a semantic chatbot, and built and deployed a BERT-based natural language to SQL query conversion deep learning model.

Aditya Andra has a diverse educational background. Aditya completed their Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, from 2009 to 2013. In 2018, they obtained a Certification in Quantitative Finance from Fitch Learning.

In 2019, Aditya pursued a Masters in Business Analytics and Big Data from IE Business School. Aditya also gained several additional certifications, such as "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Practical Time Series Analysis" from Coursera. Furthermore, they completed the "Certification in Quantitative Finance" from Fitch Learning in the same year.
