Norm Friend

Norm Friend has a diverse work experience in the field of solutions consulting and information management. Norm is currently working as a Semantic Solutions Engineer at TopQuadrant since January 2023. Prior to this, they were a Solutions Consultant at Shinydocs starting from February 2021.

Norm also worked as a Business Solutions Integrator, Information Services at SaskEnergy from November 2018 to February 2021. Before that, they were a Technical Instructor and Consultant at MicroAge Regina from August 2018 to November 2018.

Norm's experience also includes working as a Solutions Consultant at OpenText from June 2016 to June 2017. Norm provided technical and functional solution leadership to the sales team, analyzing customer content and information requirements and designing custom ECM solutions.

Norm worked as an EIM Consultant at Keystone EIM Consulting from January 2015 to June 2016, and as a Manager - Consulting Service, Information Management, and Analytics Technology at Deloitte in the year 2014.

Norm has also gained valuable experience as a Project Lead at an Asset Management Company from September 2012 to August 2013, where they acted as a solutions consultant and led the implementation of ECM foundation and business process integration.

In addition, Norm has worked in different lead business analyst roles at a Government organization from November 2011 to August 2013 and at a Utilities Company from November 2012 to May 2013, where they provided leadership and vision to project teams and business analysis teams, and identified solutions based on project concerns and issues.

Norm Friend attended the University of Waterloo from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science.
