Emilio Lopes

Emilio Lopes is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in research and development, currently serving as the Technical Lead for Low-Level Firmware at TOPTICA Photonics since June 2014. Prior to this, Emilio worked at CENIS Consulting-Engineering-Service GmbH from March 2003 to May 2014, focusing on software system engineering for projects related to the BMW Group's Electronics and Powertrain/ECU division. Emilio has also held a position as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Technische Universität München from April 1996 to October 2002. Emilio holds a Doctorate in Physics from Technical University of Munich, earned in 2002, and a Master of Science in Physics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, completed in 1996.
