David Gillespie

David Gillespie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of chromatography and polymer characterization. Currently serving as Senior R&D Manager at Tosoh Bioscience since October 2019, David focuses on workflow innovations for the chromatography of polymers and macromolecules. Prior to this role, David spent nearly two decades at The Dow Chemical Company as a Senior Research Scientist, specializing in polyolefins characterization, robotics, and workflow optimization. David's earlier career includes positions as a Chemist at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company and the USDA Agricultural Research Service, as well as Technical Service Manager at Viscotek, where David managed applications laboratory and authored significant chromatography software. David holds a degree from Drexel University, obtained from 1984 to 1989.
