Amaury Magnin

Amaury Magnin is a highly experienced data scientist and quantitative analyst with a strong background in machine learning and risk management. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at TotalEnergies since March 2024, Amaury previously led the Financial Trading Division at Predictive Layer from April 2019 to February 2024, where responsibilities included building automated machine learning pipelines for energy trading. Prior experience includes a role as a Quantitative Analyst/Researcher in Risk Management at BKW AG, focusing on innovative machine learning solutions for various financial instruments. Amaury began a postdoctoral research position at EPFL, exploring Higgs inflation theory, after earning a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the same institution in 2013.
