Rj Wilke

RJ Wilke has extensive experience in information systems, network engineering, and security. RJ has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. RJ started as a NOC Technician in the US Army in 1989. RJ then worked at Connectria as a Network & Security Architect and later as a Senior Network Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining network and security solutions for various clients. RJ also provided tier III support and troubleshooting for network and security issues. After Connectria, Wilke worked at BJC HealthCare as a Network Solutions Architect, where they acted as a subject matter expert in network technologies and provided innovative solutions for network planning and design projects. RJ then joined Touchette Regional Hospital and SIHF Healthcare as an Information Systems Director & Information Systems Security Officer, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the network, information systems, cybersecurity, and telecommunications teams. RJ was also responsible for budgeting, contract negotiations, vendor relationship management, and project management. Wilke ensured the availability of key systems, services, and infrastructure by implementing policies, controls, and procedures. RJ was also a key member of the organizational disaster recovery team and provided strategic planning and leadership. RJ Wilke attended Southwestern Illinois College from 1998 to 2000, where they studied Computer Information Systems. Prior to that, from 1997 to 1998, they attended Great Falls College Montana State University, focusing on Computer Information Technology - Network Support. In addition to their education, RJ Wilke has obtained several certifications, including EPA Section 608 (HVAC/R) Universal Certification and EPA Section 609 (MVAC) Certification from SkillCat and Mainstream Engineering Corporation respectively. They also obtained the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certification from (ISC)² in December 2022.
