Damian Bucovsky

Damian Bucovsky is an accomplished IoT Systems Architect currently employed by the Town of Cary since October 2022 and serves as VP - Head of IoT at Blink - Innovation Technology since February 2016. With a strong focus on IoT development and integration with Business Intelligence Platforms, Damian has extensive expertise in micro-power design, advanced sensors, and low-power communication technologies. As President of The Shadow on the Moon, Damian manages Program and Project Management for Cold Chain, M2M, and IoT solutions, overseeing the entire product life cycle. Previous roles include Director of Cold Chain Product Development at WAM Technologies LLC and Director of Software Engineering at ORBCOMM, along with senior consulting positions that emphasize strategy and technology selection for complex M2M projects. Damian holds an MBA and an Executive Master in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
