Ethan Matthews

Ethan Matthews has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Ethan started their career as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Nevada Reno in 2010, where they collected and analyzed experimental data and conducted literature reviews. In 2011, they also served as a Psychology 101 Proctor, administering exams and providing tutoring sessions.

In 2013, Ethan joined Trans World Health Services, Inc as a Software Engineering Consultant. Ethan later took on the role of Lead Application Developer, where they developed various applications for the healthcare sector, including health information exchange, decision support systems, and Tele-health. Ethan also worked on non-healthcare projects such as charter flight booking software and personnel tracking software. Ethan managed the backlog of development items, ensured projects were completed on time, and assisted in gathering requirements and managing client expectations.

Ethan then moved on to work as a Software Development Engineer II at Yardi in 2019, where they contributed to software development projects. In the same year, they also worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, providing their expertise on a project basis.

Since 2020, Ethan has been serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Practichem, where they assume a leadership role in software development projects.

Ethan Matthews has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, which they obtained between 2008 and 2013. Ethan also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the same university from 2012 to 2014, but this degree remains incomplete. Additionally, Ethan received certifications in HIPAA Awareness for Business Associates from HIPAA Training in December 2016.
