Dr. Debabrata Acharya

Dr. Debabrata Acharya has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dr. Debabrata is currently the Head of R&D - Product Development & Acquisition at Transformative Learning Solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Director of New Product Development at Grofers and as the Vice President of Research and Development at NESSO - NR Group. Dr. Debabrata also held positions at L'Oréal, Deakin University, The Energy and Resources Institute, Synthite Industries Ltd, Tshwane University of Technology, Synthite Industries Limited, and Piramal LifeSciences Limited, where they gained expertise in areas such as natural product isolation, nutraceuticals, bioactive compounds, and anti-inflammatory agents.

Dr. Debabrata Acharya completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacy from Universite de Bourgogne, France from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry from the University of Allahabad from 2003 to 2005. Dr. Debabrata also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology, General from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University from 1999 to 2002. Dr. Debabrata attended Kendriya Vidyalaya for Senior Secondary School education from 1987 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Agile Product Management from Quint Group in 2013, HPTLC from Care Keralam in 2012, and Metabolomics from University Leiden, Netherlands in 2012.
