Nathalie Silvestre has a long history of experience with Transgene. Nathalie started as a PhD student in the Molecular Genetics Laboratory in 1989 and continued their work there as a Research Scientist until 2001. Nathalie then moved on to become a Research Scientist in the Molecular Immunology Laboratory until 2005, where they focused on molecular immunology research. In 2005, they became the Scientific Coordinator of the HPV Persistent Infection project and the Head of the Molecular Biology Laboratory, where they managed laboratory operations and worked on generating plasmids for recombinant virus production and gene expression. Finally, in 2013, they became the Head of the Vectorology Laboratory, continuing their work in laboratory management and the generation of recombinant viruses.
Nathalie Silvestre has a Ph.D in Biotechnology from the University of Strasbourg, which they obtained in 1995. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial and Applied Microbiology from Aix-Marseille University in 1989.
