Engineer - Asset Management at Transport Infrastructure Ireland

PJ Hourigan is an experienced civil engineer with a strong background in asset management and highway project design. Currently serving as an Engineer in Asset Management at Transport Infrastructure Ireland since July 2022, PJ focuses on pavement condition and asset management for roads and active travel. Prior to this role, PJ worked at Kildare County Council National Roads Office, first as an Assistant Engineer and then as an Executive Engineer, managing highways projects in the South East region. PJ's earlier experience includes positions at RPS Europe as a Design Engineer and Assistant Supervisor - Design Site Representative, and at SGS Australia as a Geotechnical Engineer and Geotechnician. PJ holds an Honours Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, along with an Ordinary Bachelor of Engineering and a Higher Certificate in the same field.
