Danielle Finney M.a., Iap2

Danielle Finney, M.A., IAP2, serves as the Senior Communications Manager at the Transportation Investment Corporation, leading a team on the $4.15-billion George Massey Tunnel replacement project since August 2021. Previously, as the Senior Communications Lead for Major Projects with the City of Vancouver, Danielle managed communications for the Broadway Subway Project, necessitating strong relationship-building and issues management skills. At TransLink, Danielle developed strategies for several major infrastructure initiatives, including the Compass Card rollout. Early roles included Communications Advisor at the Vancouver Aquarium, where coverage for key initiatives significantly increased, and Communications Manager at DLA Piper, overseeing marketing and communications. Danielle began a career in media as a Reporter for CBC, covering a wide range of stories. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Women's Studies from Memorial University, a Bachelor's in Journalism from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan.
